As a matter of fact, all I did basically was to import clips, trim them, join, add transition effect, text and audio, then, export. It was nothing serious, just a compilation of different shots we recorded for an outreach. The first major edit (by my standard) I did was through an application called AVS Video editor. There is Lightworks, Hitfilm Express, Cyberlink PowerDirector, Adobe Premiere Elements, Davinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, and the list goes on and on and on.
